The latest additions to Mickey’s, one of Ohio’s fastest-growing food and fuel stops, are also its most spectacular! Located in Norwalk, OH, and Shelby, OH, the two new stores—the first of their kind for Mickey’s—feature towering glass structures, beautiful and abundant natural light, and open, inviting interiors.
Each location offers fresh donuts and coffee with a full-service Dunkin’. There are also delicious meal options for the whole family at Mickey’s Chicken & Deli. Fully stocked coolers and a wide array of quick-serve and snack items provide all the food and beverages you need. Both stores are open 24/7 for maximum convenience.
Coming later this year, Mickey’s Dino-World Adventure will debut at these new stores! This permanent amusement display will feature realistic dinosaurs towering to the ceiling. The dinosaurs are being created by Norwalk’s Emerald FX, which has designed similar attractions for Cedar Point and Disney World. Animatronics and atmospheric effects will be crafted by Columbus, Ohio-based Scarefactory.
Guided by the goal of ushering in “The New Golden Age of the American Road,” Mickey’s is excited to contribute to family entertainment and convenience in north-central Ohio. The company expects the exhibit to become a quintessential American roadside attraction, drawing visitors to Norwalk’s and Shelby’s vibrant community life.
The stores’ grand openings were attended by local business, health, and civic leaders, generating significant excitement.
“The Jurassic-themed gas station will be a ‘refueling experience,’” said Norwalk Mayor Dave Light, one of several dignitaries at Norwalk’s ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Mickey’s, formerly known as Mickey Mart, has long been a proud member of both communities, with two other Norwalk locations, and one additional Shelby, and over 40 stores across northern Ohio.
